The Director is someone who works to empower and support the staff to help the individuals we serve to achieve their goals and dreams. The Director provides leadership and creates a positive team environment. The Director empowers the Manager and staff to implement the person’s service plan and encourages and supports the person served to make choices, decisions and plans that reflect their personal interests. Fulfill DM qualifications
Coordinate the recruitment and hiring process: creating and placing ads, responding to applicants, sending information to house manager to set up and conduct 1st interviews, participating in 2nd interview
Enforce policies and procedures
Train and Mentor Managers, Staff
Be available to receive calls during and outside of work hours answering questions from staff or during emergencies if Manager and Assistant Manager are not available
Fill in direct care if needed for Manager

Liaison with guardians and county manager
Collaborate with guardians and manager to create written and video training modules for specific clients
Participate in developing new clients, conduct client intake, admission and assessments
Write, develop, and implement client’s person-centered support plan; intake paperwork, CSSPA-A, IAPP, SMA, Outcomes, and others. Review documents so that they meet licensing guidelines
Maintain accurate records and write reports, update daily note template, calendars, MAR, checklists and other house daily documents
Excellent knowledge and keeping updated of changes of states and federal 245-D Rules and Regulations
Maintain compliance with 245-D licensing rules and regulations
Maintain all signatures as required by 245-D licensing rules and regulations
Maintain, update all files as required by 245-D licensing rules and regulations
Review incident reports, identification of incident patterns and implementation of corrective actions
Serve as client advocate
Attend annual and semi-annual client meetings at county
Attend medical and dental appointments if needed
Assist and oversee in the development of daily client programming
Conduct program evaluations and quality assurance reviews
Community liaison and attend member meetings and events
Help design and create face book and website, write content
Collaborate with CEO to create new innovative programs and promote growth and profitability as an organization
